Canotek Drivers Test Ottawa

My license is expiring soon, so I really need to take this test, but I'm not sure where to take it. I'm closest to Walkley, but I had a bad time there getting my G2, and I'm wondering if I might be better off going to Canotek or even Smiths Falls. I'm a much better driver now than when I failed at Walkey, but I'm still. If you live in Ontario, you have the option of looking around and picking the Ontario G1 test location that is more convenient to you. There is a list of all the test centres in the province of Ontario that can be found online:. G1 knowledge test is offered in all locations. The test can be done on paper in any centre, but some locations offer to take it on a computer as well. You do not need an appointment to take the G1 test.

The knowledge tests are given on the ‘first come -- first served’ basis. You should plan your visit for no later than one hour before the centre closes, otherwise there will not be enough time for the document check and testing procedures. The G1 test will assess your knowledge of traffic signs and road rules -- those are the two sections comprising the test. You are allowed to make 4 mistakes in each section, to still be able to pass the test. In other words, even if you make just one mistake in signs, but 5 -- in the road rules section, it will be a fail. You will get the results as soon as you submit your test to the agent. If you fail the test, you have a choice of paying the fee and taking the test again on the same day if you wish to do so.

The test is offered in English and French in all testing locations. Please contact the near you, to find out which ones out of total 17 languages it currently offers for the test.
