I am looking to download the whole Barnetts Bike Manual in pdf. All the links I have found so far are dead. I imagine the Bartlett folk ain't too thrilled about copies over the internet.pretty sure they charge bike shops some significant $$ for them. I had a copy I downloaded but unfortunately didn't backup and lost during a reinstallation of my OS. And it wasn't from Barnett's site, think it was a university based site (.edu), Minnesota somewheres I think, but that was a couple of years ago. I don't think in my case that Barnett's would just give me a copy.

I tried google after my earlier post and got nothing that looked too promising.but didn't look too hard either. Like I said, for my own bikes I really don't need Barnett's, as I have the manufacturer's spec/service info for most of it. Uh, why couldn't someone put up a pirate copy in pdf? One of the dead links is the one you speak of. Both Barnetts and Specialized were/are pubishing pdf versions of some of the chapters. I understand that Barrnets change which ones are avaiable so over time you could collect all the chapters (some been out of date newer verion in the book) As for Why couldn't someone put up a pirate copy in pdf?

Well there could if they scaned in the book and saved it to pdf. But no that likely or they got hold of the original files.Somebody did collect many if not all the chapters from Spec and Barnett's and put them on his site for download. He was shut down by them. The original files were in.pdf format. Look on Amazon and you can get the manual for as little as $80 bucks.
