You could have just gone on Freecom's website. It seems like Freecom only do one DVB-T device. Here are the drivers: XP DVB-T USB Driver (only for Art.No.:25451) - DVB-T USB & CARDBUS BDA driver (32 & 64 bit XP) - DVB-T USB & CARDBUS WDM driver - Vista DVB-T USB Driver (only for Art.No.:25451) - Freecom Hybrid USB Stick driver (32 bit Vista) - Freecom Digital USB & Cardbus DVB-T drivers (32 & 64 bit Vista) - You probably only need one of the above drivers, just make sure you download the right one for your operating system.

There were 3 drivers on the above not just 2. First off double check if it's a hybrid stick (these have analogue support & DVB-T - usally has hybrid written on the stick) or one simply labelled Freecom USB DVB-T and choose the appropriate driver. Also, you didn't mention if your using x32 or x64 Windows 7.

@Scrubbs I'm not at the aerial stage yet If I can get it working I will hook it up to my external aerial. @Chill My stick is Art. 27442, May 2006 so I guess those drivers are not suitable, I did have a look before posting here. I've got one of those Freecom sticks lying about - they are decent with Windows Media Center. Anyway for XP, your going to have to install the Freecom Program; but as you have stated, you have no CD for it; so if it is possible, try downloading Arcsoft TotalMedia or Cyberlink PowerCinema and use this driver: If you do manage to find your CD, install the software via the cd (including the DVB Viewer) and install this driver. Those drivers didn't work TaiLZ I get the same error as before using the same install procedures. System sees stick, says it is ready for use but is unrecognised. In device manager it shows as 'unknown device'.

If I look at its drivers 'no drivers loaded'. If I try to update the drivers by pointing to the Freecom drivers or the 32bit drivers from '00008584' I get 'No better match found'. If I uninstall 'unknown device' then install new hardware, select 'Sound, Video and game controllers' then 'Have disc' and point to the Freecom drivers or the 32bit drivers I get 'Freecom USB Digital - TV Receiver' in device manager under 'Sound, Video and game controllers'. As soon as I select TV in the Arcsoft TotalMedia program I get the BSoD. Although I don't have the CD I think the software I was given is a copy of the CD because there are BDA drivers, manuals, the Arcsoft Totalmedia program and 'start.exe'.

However if I run 'start.exe' all I get is a light grey screen and nothing happening. Mine is a 'Hauppauge nova t' and it works fine Got one of those as well in PCI form - it's pretty decent Anyway, Just checked and those drivers on Freecom site are for just the DVB-T stick and not the Analogue + DVB-T - quite shocking really that they can't provide drivers. Well I have got final version installed today. With the news that Windows 7 allows 4 similar tuners, I thought that I would bring my stick back ( I have hauppauge twin dvb-t pci tuner already). Unfortunately, my stick would not install - 3 our of 4 bits of driver seemed to work. But the final 'digital tv receiver' shows a fail. It still fails after downloading latest drivers from Freecom.

I am sure that this is probably a clone and suitable drivers exist elsewhere for Windows 7, but where? My part no is: 25452 Anyone got any ideas? I am on a hunt now. There are 3 seperate parts to using these most of these DVB-T devices.

Theres the required BDA driver set OC, then that cold boots a DVB software firmware into the USB2 device, only then can the DVB app player/tuner can start using it. In the case of the the two mentioned they should both be using idVendor 0x14aa AVerMedia (again) or C&E drivers in linuxTV for the 27442 it should be idProduct 0x0620 and 25452 should probably be reported as using idProduct 0x022a when the firmware is loaded. Then its just a case of using any generic BDA TV tuner app such as basicly if your drivers seem to be installed adn your getting crashes from your chosen BDA driver app try any other in this list or other BDA TV app you find. The apps are usually the worst part of this puzzle as the drivers and asspecially the software firmwares are virtually the same across all OS platforms. You might also try using a liveCD linuxTV CD of your choice and boot directly to that instead to test and play with your DVB-T and tuning. Once you have a good external arial plugged in to each of your DVB-T devices.
